Cardozo Symposium on October 23 on Presumptive ADR and Court Systems of the Future

Following this year’s adoption by the NY Courts of Presumptive ADR, the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution is holding its Jed D. Melnick Symposium on Presumptive ADR and Court Systems of the Future on Friday, October 23.

Register via Eventbrite.  CLE credits will be available.  The virtual event will be held over Zoom Webinar. After registration, you will receive the link to the event several days before October 23. Details regarding receiving CLE credits will also be shared after registration and before the event.

Following a welcome and keynote address by the Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals, Janet DiFiore, at 9:00 AM, the Symposium will feature many distinguished panelists from across the country throughout the day, each panel exploring a unique aspect of presumptive, mandatory or easy-opt out ADR and its implications. Those panels will include:

9:30 – 10:45 AM: Leadership and Implementation: Presumptive ADR in NY, with Lisa Courtney, Esq.
