Jim Devine, a former colleague and professor of mine at the University of Missouri School of Law unexpectedly passed away yesterday.  While Jim was not an ADR scholar, plenty of us (including yours truly) can point to things he did to help us along in our careers.  That’s the sort of person he was, always helping others be the best they could be.  For a better understanding of how giving Jim was, read the comments to his death announcement at the Faculty Lounge blog.
