Boskey Competition – Call for Papers and Judges

From Jean Sternlight:

I write to encourage you to have your students submit their good papers to the ABA Dispute Resolution Section Boskey Writing Competition.  Named after James Boskey, a long-time leader in our field, the competition is open to all full and part-time J.D. students.  To be eligible papers should address an aspect of dispute resolution, be unpublished, and be 15-25 pages, double-spaced, including footnotes or endnotes.   The deadline for this year is June 15th, 2010.  Winners will get a prize of $1,000 and be honored in perpetuity.  Further details are set forth on the ABA Dispute Resolution website http://www.abanet.org/dispute/essaycomp.html and in the entry form available on that website.

Many of you have previously volunteered to be judges for the competition. If you previously missed out on the chance to volunteer please feel free to volunteer now by sending me your name.  Judges will grade 2-4 essays between June 15 and July 15th.  Judges are not expected to provide detailed comments on the essays.
