Resolution Systems Institute – Chicago – Remote

RSI is nationally recognized as the premier U.S. research organization in the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) field. Among our work are two multi-year projects that are firsts in the ADR field. Activities include focus groups, interviews, surveys, mediation observation, coding and more.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Researcher works under the supervision of, and in collaboration with, the Director of Research to conduct high quality, complex program evaluations and research with an eye toward improving access to justice, court processes and litigant experience.
- Develop study designs, including appropriate research questions and aligned methods and analytic plans
- Design and plan qualitative and quantitative data collection instruments, such as interview protocols, focus group protocols, surveys and databases
- Conduct field-based data collection activities, such as interviews, structured observations, focus groups and document review
- Collaborate on coding and data analysis of surveys, interviews, observations, and focus groups using the appropriate analysis tools
- Conduct statistical analyses of quantitative data
- Write reports, including briefs, charts, and graphs that describe and interpret findings of analyses
- Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with clients and relevant interested parties
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy when writing
SALARY AND BENEFITS
The Research Assistant is a full-time position with an annual salary of $62,000, coupled with a generous benefits package, including health insurance; dental and vision coverage; life insurance; a 401(k); and paid vacation, holiday and sick time. The position is fully remote (within the US) and reports to the Director of Research.
