Call for Submissions for ABA Resource Share – by April 15

From Sharon Press:

As you know, the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution will once again host a virtual conference in April and we are pleased to announce that the Resource Share will take place live (online) on Friday, April 29 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm Eastern.

For those of you who are new to the Resource Share, it is a session in which educators share teaching resources with one another to use freely in their classrooms.  Join in this session to learn how your colleagues are teaching specific topics or tackling tricky pedagogical challenges.  Share your own most effective teaching tool, or an exercise your students always learn from and enjoy.

We ask you all to submit the resources you wish to introduce in the session to us in advance.  This will allow us to plan the session’s flow and to add your contributions to the ever-growing Resource Share compilation (without appendices).   If you would like any of the referenced appendices, you can send me a request via email … or you can wait until after the conference when we will post the updated Resource Share along with all of the appendices.

Some of you have already submitted resources… thank you!  We have them and they will be included.  Those of you who have not done so yet, now is the time to do so.

In the past few years, we’ve asked you to share, in particular, resources on online teaching and material designed for the online and hybrid classroom. This year, we are intentionally making a more general request for materials because we are interested in hearing what new materials you have developed without constraints.

As a reminder, this is about resources, not just ideas. Please include instructions, guides, write-ups, and links that will support your colleagues in implementing your suggestions in their teaching.

We also are interested in resources you have found for taking care of yourself and/or of your students during these challenging times.

Please send your resources to me by April 15.

We look forward to hearing from you soon and seeing you on April 29.

In the meantime, we hope you stay safe and healthy!
