Works-in-Progress Conference–Deadline Extended

I was delighted to see that the Werner Institute at Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska has announced that the deadline for submitting proposals for the 2011 AALS Works-in-Progress Conference has been extended to September 30. This will provide an opportunity for scholars who were unable to submit their proposal by the initial deadline in the summer and for further collaboration, inclusion, and scholarship.  If you are like me and don’t necessarily submit all your conference proposals on time (!), here’s one more chance to attend a terrific conference.  I’ll be there so come join me!

As organizer Ran Kuttner noted, “the conference continues a tradition of promoting an environment to share current ADR research, receive feedback, exchange ideas, and build new professional relationships.  A number of scholars ranging from very junior faculty to some of the most prominent intellectuals in the field are already slated to present. With a few more presentation spaces remaining, please consider submitting your proposal.  We look forward to hearing from you and encourage your attendance at this collegial gathering.  Please note that full draft papers are not required for presenting at the conference.”

For more information on the conference and the downloadable registration form please visit the conference website at http://www.creighton.edu/werner/2011WIPConference/ or contact Ran at rankuttner@creighton.edu or (402)280-3752.
