Job Announcements for Two Dispute Resolution Positions

Lara Fowler (Penn State) sent the following announcement:

The Environmental Dispute Resolution (EDR) Program is hiring a Mediator who will be responsible for supporting existing program activities and developing new projects. We seek someone with significant experience in conflict resolution and consensus building, as well as expertise in training and capacity building.  Ideally, the new EDR Program Mediator will start no later than August 1, 2019.

Kristen Blankley (Nebraska) sent the following announcement:

The State of Nebraska has recently posted a job for the Director of the Office of Dispute Resolution.  This is a JD preferred, mid-career job.  The Office of Dispute Resolution oversees and partners with Nebraska’s 6 community centers.  The community mediation centers in the state work on more than 4,000 family cases yearly, in addition to small claims and other community disputes.  The Office is also engaged in a statewide initiative in restorative justice with youth. The agency is housed in the Supreme Court of Nebraska.  The application deadline is June 15, 2019.  Click here for more information.
