Thank you, John, for reminding everyone of our trip to Cuba. Our experiences have resonated with me since that time. What I remember most was that the Cuban people wore smiles. There was not the sense of despair that I have seen in other parts of the world, but instead, there was hopefulness and seizing what life offers. I actually met a young lady who grew up in my neighborhood who renounced her American citizenship and became a cuban citizen. Her father left Cuba during the Batista days and his dream was to return to Cuba with his family. In the last few years he did so and now each of his children is returning. i tell you this because is reinforces your comment that there is truth in every corner and we must listen and recognize all the truths and not just reject because the concept is at odds with our view.
