A while back I announced that there would be a Post-ACR Conference on October 12 for Educators in Higher Ed Conflict Resolution Programs (not just law) and I’d like to officially invite you to participate.  The event will take place at Hamline University from 9 am – 4 pm and will feature:

  • Interactive Plenary Session on Pedagogy Lessons from the Rethinking Negotiation Teaching Project led by Professor Jim Coben, Hamline University School of Law
  • Pedagogy Demos moderated by Professor Mara Schoeny, George Mason University
  • Samoan Circle on The Interdisciplinary Nature of our Field: What Can We Learn from Each Other coordinated by Professor Ken Fox, Hamline University School of Business and Professor David Brubacker, Eastern Mennonite University and featuring educators who come to conflict resolution from a range of disciplines
  • Curriculum Discussion led by Professor Tamra D’Estree, University of Denver and chair of ACR’s Higher Ed Guidelines Task Force

The day will conclude with a reception co-sponsored by the Conflict Resolution Programs at Eastern Mennonite University, George Mason University, Hamline University, and the University of Denver.

Please send me an email [spress01@hamline.edu] if you are able to join us for all or any part of the day!
