Geoff Sharp, whose Mediatorblahblah blog was one of the only things I read with regularity, announced a few days ago that he is bowing out. We as a field are poorer for his departure, but we should all be grateful to him for his thoughtful, self-confessedly “overly opinionated” contributions.
With more than a thousands posts on the site, I am nowhere near done giving Geoff’s contributions the attention they deserve. I have found myself returning to some of his posts long, long after he typed them out. And I hope that his site will remain active for a long time to come, because I expect I’ll continue to wonder, “What would Geoff Sharp say about this…?”
With hopes that Geoff is wildly successful with whatever it is he intends to do with his non-blogging time and/or with hopes that he’ll decide to bow back in sometime in the future,
