Cardozo will host the ABA DR Section Regional Meetup where the students of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution will honor Ambassador George Moose, as the International Advocate for Peace.  Ambassador Moose, after an extensive and impressive career around the world, most recently served as the CEO of the U.S. Institute for Peace.  You can register for the cocktail party and meet up here Register Here: ABA DR Section Regional Meetup Registration Link (Registration $25)

Friday, April 17, 2026, 8:30am – 4:30pm

This event brings dispute resolution educators—faculty, adjuncts, clinicians, and trainers—together for a day of community, learning, conversation, creativity, and mutual support. The program will feature demonstrations of innovative teaching methods, conversations around hot educational topics, the annual Dispute Resolution Teachers Resource Share, and more.

Participants in the event are not expected or required to prepare presentations or material ahead of time. Rather, attendees will participate in a lively event, with experiential activities, facilitated discussions, educational co-creation, and class-worthy outputs.  This colloquium is hosted in partnership with the Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution, the Mitchell Hamline DRI Skills Lab, the ABA DR Section, AALS Clinical ADR Committee, and the Legal Educators in Dispute Resolution Committee. The working agenda is listed at the bottom of this e-mail.
