Pace Investor Rights Clinic 20th Anniversary Celebration

Twenty years ago, Pace Law School opened the first securities arbitration clinic in the country in which students, under faculty supervision, offer free representation to investors of modest means who have disputes with their securities brokerage firms  and/or individual brokers that are required to be arbitrated.  The Clinic (now known as the Pace Investor Rights Clinic) has helped countless investors resolve their disputes through negotiation, mediation and arbitration, provided investor education and advocated for the rights of modest means investors through comments on SEC and FINRA rule filings.  Along with the other investor advocacy clinics across the country (about 17 right now), we have collectively helped investors recover millions of dollars in losses attributable to broker misconduct.

We are celebrating the anniversary here at Pace on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 6:00-8:00 pm in our Tudor Room.  If you are in the White Plains area, please join us for drinks and light food to celebrate the Clinic’s impact on our students and clients, and honor clinic founder Barbara Black.
