Many readers of this blog have no doubt already seen the email that my dear colleague, Michael Green, sent out on the DR Listserve. But, I didn’t want to miss an opportunity to share our good news (and good fortune):
Dear Listmates,
With great pride and appreciation, I write to announce that Nancy Welsh, Professor of Law and William Trickett Faculty Scholar at Penn State Dickinson School of Law, has agreed to join our faculty at Texas A&M as Professor of Law and Director of our Aggie Dispute Resolution program starting with the 2017-18 school year.
Many, if not all, of you know Nancy Welsh and what a gifted scholar, teacher, and servant to the field she is. I can assure you that I and the other dispute resolution faculty at A&M—including Cynthia Alkon, Peter Reilly, and Carol Pauli—are delighted that our search for a new director has concluded so very successfully.
Please congratulate Nancy for her outstanding talents and her new opportunity. We are all overjoyed by the prospect of having Nancy lead our program. Many good things have been going on at Texas A&M University School of Law and our ADR program. Look for great things to come.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Michael Z. Green
Interim Director, 2016-17
Aggie Dispute Resolution Program
Texas A&M University School of Law
Congratulations to ABA Dispute Resolution Section Chair Nancy Welsh on her new position.
This is big news – dare I say Texas big? Congrats to Texas A&M for bringing Nancy on board, and congratulations to Nancy for moving to a school on the move.
Nancy: All the best. We in PA will miss you!
