As a huge Bowie fan, his death makes me both sad and grateful to have found so much enjoyment of his music.  Here’s a link to my favorite song of his, maybe my all-time favorite song – Heroes.  Whenever it comes up on my ipod, I usually listen to it at least 3 times and I get goosebumps every time – strange for a song nearly 40 years old.  Not only is it still fresh, but it’s also a cold war relic, with the Berlin Wall playing a prominent role in one verse.

Thank you David Bowie.

btw – On Friday he turned 69 and released a cd entitled Blackstar.
