Negotiation Teaching Workshop – Northwestern University

The Kellogg School of Management and the Dispute Resolution Research Center (Northwestern’s B-School and Law School) are hosting their 6th Negotiation and Teamwork Teaching Workshop on Saturday Nov. 12, 2011.  I went to this workshop several years ago and found it very much worth my time.  In fact, it caused me to change how I teach several topics, most notably power/leverage issues and emotions in negotiation.  Here’s a short conference description.

Please join us for our 6th Negotiation & Teamwork Teaching Workshop. This year’s workshop includes two new features: “How to Design a Course” and “Using Current Research Results in the Classroom”, in addition to sessions introducing new exercises and new approaches to teaching old favorites. The purpose of the workshop is to share materials and techniques with instructors who are currently teaching or planning to teach, teamwork or negotiation at the university level.
