Symposium on Energy and Environmental Conflict Resolution

On November 1, 2010, the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution and the JAMS Foundation will sponsor a symposium:  “Energy and the Environment:  Preventing and Resolving Conflicts.”  It will be at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York.

The event is divided into three main topics:  Alternatives to Fossil Fuels, Natural Gas Drilling in Upstate NY, and the Gulf Oil Disaster.  It looks like an interesting assortment of speakers from academia and practice who have expertise in energy, environmental law, and dispute resolution.

The event includes CLE credits and is free and open to the public.  To RSVP email: symposia@cojcr.org.  For more information see: https://sites.google.com/site/energyandtheenvironmentcom/
