Aspiring Law Professors Conference

On Saturday October 2, 2010 Arizona State will be hosting the Aspiring Law Professors Conference.  Anyone who is interested in a move to legal academia can benefit from the conference, however, it is specifically designed for those who will be going to the AALS Hiring Conference for interviews later this fall.  Thus, the conference’s marketing materials are geared to Visiting Assistant Professors, Fellows, and law clerks.  Specifically the conference gives details about the entry-level legal teaching market and an insider’s perspective on the appointments process.  Most helpful, however, is the opportunity to conduct both a mock interview and mock job talk.  The conference itself is free, but the number of attendees is limited.

Good luck to all !!
