Moritz College of Law Student Wins CPR’s Best Original Student Article Award

Since others are posting information about CPR awards, let me take this opportunity to congratulate Kevin Mahoney, a recent graduate of Moritz College of Law and former Editor-in-Chief of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution, for winning CPR’s award for outstanding student article. In his article, published in the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution, Kevin detailed the history of the International Olympics Committee’s arbitration procedures regarding substance abuse, how those procedures were deficient, and why they eventually had to be changed. He went on to explain why he feels Major League Baseball’s own substance abuse arbitration procedure could benefit from similar changes.

Congratulations, Kevin!
