Third Annual Dispute Resolution Works-In-Progress Conference at Harvard this fall–Call for Papers

I am delighted to post the following announcement from Bob Mnookin.  Bob will be hosting this year’s Works-in-Progress conference at Harvard.  Our first two conferences have been informative, helpful and lots of fun.  I am sure that pattern will continue!

Dear Colleague,

I’m pleased to announce that this fall the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School would host the Third Annual Dispute Resolution Works in Progress Workshop

The workshop will be held in Cambridge on Friday, November 13th and Saturday, November 14th.  Details will follow about the precise times and hotel alternatives. (We will be working to secure reasonable rates at the nearby Sheraton Commander Hotel).

For this year’s workshop I’m pleased to announce there will be a Steering Committee that includes Andrea Schneider, and Art Hinshaw, each of whom hosted an earlier workshop.  We are eager to get the word out early about this fall’s workshop so that you could save the date and keep it in mind as you pursue your scholarship this summer.

Needless to say, we have an expansive view of dispute resolution and negotiation. We will welcome submissions not simply from law professors and academics in other relevant disciplines but also from working professionals with scholarly interests. So please spread the word to all.

If you think you would like to present a work in progress, drop me an email (mnookin@law.harvard.edu) simply indicating the probable topic asap.  The abstract will not be due until October 1, 2009.

My colleagues and I look forward to seeing you this fall.

Sincerely,

Robert H. Mnookin
