University of Richmond – National Champs !!

Congratulations to Faith Alejandro and Paul Falabella from the the University of Richmond School of Law for winning the National Championship in the ABA Representation in Mediation Competition.  This year’s field of competitors at the National Round was outstanding and very closely matched, which was typified by the scoring of the judges in the final round, where Richmond narrowly beat Washington University in St.Louis.  Big congrats to Faith and Paul for a job well done and for doing so without having the benefit of a coach.

For those who were wondering the teams that made it to the National Round, they are:

·        Arizona State University College of Law

·        Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law

·        Ohio State University-Moritz College of Law

·        Rutgers University – Camden – School of Law

·        Seattle University School of Law

·        Suffolk University Law School

·        University of Richmond School of Law

·        University of Tennessee College of Law

·        University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law

·        Washington University School of Law (St. Louis)

Thanks to all of the student competitors, coaches, mediators, and judges who worked so hard to make this year’s competition a success.  Without your assistance there would be no competition to speak of.
