Congratulations to Ellen Deason, Awarded OSU Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching

I thought our blog readers might enjoy hearing this wonderful news about my colleague, friend, and fellow dispute resolution professor Ellen Deason (also an occasional contributor to our blog). Today, Ellen’s early morning International Business Arbitration class was interrupted by Bruce McPheron, Ohio State Interim Executive Vice President and Provost, to announce her selection for the Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching. This well-deserved recognition is the Ohio State University’s highest teaching award; only 10 professors are recognized each year from more than 5,000 Ohio State faculty members.

Congratulations, Ellen!

  1. It was a pleasure listening to Ellen’s presentation in the AALS Works-in-Progress conference at Southwestern, so I can testify for a well deserved award… congratulations Ellen!
